DAY 01: LIMA

Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation and rest.

DAY 02: PACHACAMAC ARCHAEOLOGICAL SANCTUARY & COLONIAL AND MODERN LIMA CITY TOUR

Breakfast.

09:40 Hrs Start of the tour through Barranco, one of the smallest districts and at the same time the Bohemian area of Lima. We will appreciate its square, plaza, bridge of sighs, Chabuca Granda monument, the Hermitage and the Bajada de Baños. Next, we will pass through Chorrillos, the name of this district was made in allusion to the streams of fresh underground water that flowed from the cliffs towards the side of the Agua Dulce beach, and for being a fishing village; for which it was officially called San Pedro de los Chorrillos. Later, we will visit the Pachacamac sanctuary, which for more than 2,200 years during the pre-Hispanic period, was the most important sanctuary on the coast. Its prestige is mainly due to its oracle, which was consulted by curacas and principal lords who came from all over ancient Peru on long pilgrimages that were part of a great Andean ritual. (*Lunch at the passenger's expense)

Approximately 14:40 Hrs. Beginning of the tour at Huaca Pucllana with a panoramic view of this important ceremonial center belonging to the Lima culture. We will head towards the center of Lima, passing through the different neighborhoods of San Isidro, Lince and Cercado. We will appreciate the Palace of Justice, the Museum of Lima, the Museum of Italian Art, the French Palace and Plaza San Martín. Then, our pedestrian visit begins at the Plaza de Armas where, in addition to appreciating the Cathedral of Lima, the Municipal Palace, the Government Palace, and the Archbishop's Palace, we will have free space to take photos of the attractions. We will enter the Convent of San Francisco and its catacombs, which are a series of underground passages under the church, where the ancient inhabitants of the city were buried and where the remains of more than 25,000 people are found. Finally, we will have a panoramic view of the Parque del Amor, the Pacific Ocean and Larcomar.

Return to the hotel and accommodation in Lima.

(*) Important: The Pachacamac Archaeological Sanctuary is only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

DAY 03: DEPARTURE FROM LIMA

Breakfast. Free day for personal activities. At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport.
