Arrival at Oliver Tambo Airport in Johannesburg, located at an altitude of 1765m and renowned as the largest and most important airport on the continent. Meeting with the Italian-speaking guide and the rest of the group for a welcome.

Departure from OR Tambo International Airport at 11:00 for the Mpumalanga region with an English-speaking driver. (The Italian-speaking guide is not present during this transfer.)

ATTENTION: Departure from the airport is scheduled for 11:00, so the international flight must arrive in Johannesburg early in the morning to allow time for customs and baggage collection.

The Mpumalanga region is known for its natural wonders, from large parks to geological formations. The route, from the Johannesburg plateau, descends to about 530m, and it is fascinating to see the change in landscape and vegetation between the two provinces.

Upon arrival at Muluwa, meeting with an Italian-speaking guide who will be present for the rest of the Per Mano in Safari itinerary.

With panoramic views over valleys and mountains, the Muluwa Lodge is located between White River and Nelspruit in agricultural countryside and bushland that perfectly represents the Mpumalanga region, which has a great agricultural wealth and an even greater natural and wildlife heritage.

Overnight, dinner, and breakfast at Muluwa/Ndhula in standard room. Drinks excluded.

Blyde Canyon – Karongwe Private Game Reserve

Breakfast and departure with the Italian guide to visit the most renowned sites of the Panorama Route, including the third largest canyon in the world! The Blyde River Canyon stretches for 26 km in length and is 800 meters deep.

The visit also includes the Three Rondavels, so called because they resemble the typical huts of African villages, and the ancient cylindrical rock formations of Bourkes Luck.

Arrival at Karongwe River Lodge in time for lunch.

The Karongwe Private Game Reserve covers about 9000 hectares of this scenic, wild, and wildlife-rich land, and here you’ll find Karongwe River Lodge, an elegant bush retreat along the Makhutsi River, in an exclusive private concession.

Karongwe River Lodge is immersed in the bush, perfectly blending in without altering the nature or disrupting the view. It is located along the Makhutsi River. Tastefully furnished, everything recalls the colonial era but also incorporates the latest trends in interior design.

Very helpful and friendly staff, the rangers and guides are exceptional, and they follow you throughout your stay, becoming in some way key points of reference.
