DAY 1 – ORIGIN / PEREIRA:
Arrival at Matecaña airport in Pereira, reception and transfer to and from the chosen hotel in the Coffee Zone. Check-in and accommodation.
Notes: For arrival transfers, the night schedule applies for flights between 9:00 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. Rates are for daytime transfers; if they are nighttime, a supplement applies.
DAY 2 - PEREIRA (Coffee Process at “La Divisa de Don Juan”):
At the agreed time, transfer to the La Divisa de Don Juan farm. Upon arrival you will feel at home as you will be greeted by the owners who will invite you to wear the typical costume of the region's coffee growers (poncho, hat and basket) and become an expert coffee picker. In this experience you will be able to learn about the interactive process of coffee from its origin (seed) and live a sensory experience tasting a delicious cup of coffee, as well as enjoying a friendly family atmosphere with the flora and fauna of the area. The coffee tour is distributed by stations where, in addition to hiking, bird and butterfly watching, you will be able to enjoy the cultural coffee landscape among stories and tales of the place. Return to accommodation.
Includes: Specialized transportation, assistance in Spanish, experience at the coffee farm, coffee tasting and homemade snack.

Duration: 3 hours approx. plus transfer time depending on the hotel where you are staying.

Notes: It is suggested to use sunscreen, comfortable clothing, insect repellent, sports shoes or closed boots that are comfortable for walking along the trails.
DAY 3 - PEREIRA (Cócora Valley and Salento):
Breakfast. At the agreed time, transfer to the Cócora Valley. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a typical drink (canelazo). There, an eco-guide will tell you about the place and take you on foot to the cloud forest where we will appreciate the biodiversity of fauna and flora of the place where we will take the ecological trail of the tallest wax palm in the world and the national flagship tree where we will do the ritual of the wax palm of Quindío, which consists of learning the history of how the aborigines worshiped this palm. Then we continue with the planting of palm seedlings. Transfer to the typical town of Salento where we will have a walking tour visiting its colonial streets, artisan workshops and the Mirador de Cócora. Typical lunch and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Includes: Transportation, Guidance and environmental interpretation, welcome canelazo, regular ecological walk, wax palm ritual and introduction to the destination by a local eco-guide, hydration, snacks and typical lunch with starter, main course and drink.
Duration: Approximately 6 hours of activity plus transfer time depending on your location.
Notes: Because this destination has a large influx of local and foreign visitors on Sundays and Mondays, holidays, we recommend booking this tour on different days for a better experience, this also applies to Easter, end and beginning of the year.
DAY 4 - PEREIRA / CITY OF ORIGIN:
Breakfast. Last day of travel before returning home, make sure to bring the best memories. At the indicated time, transfer from the hotel to the airport to take a flight to your city of origin.
