ITINERARY
DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN LIMA
Arrival in Lima, reception and transfer to the chosen hotel, rest.

DAY 02: VISIT CITY TOUR LIMA COLONIAL AND MODERN
Breakfast.
09:30 or 14:50 hrs Start this tour with a panoramic view at the Huaca Pucllana, pre-Inca temple of S. IV D.C. Visit the Museum of the Central Reserve Bank, admiring the sample of ancient cultures of Peru, with a select exhibition of objects of gold, ceramics, textiles from various pre-Columbian cultures and the Cohen Gold Collection. Enjoy a walk through the Plaza Mayor watching the Cathedral, Government Palace and the Municipal Palace.
Also, discover the San Francisco Monastery and its Catacombs. Finally, enjoy the breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean. * BCRP Museum, closed to the public Monday and Sunday, Accommodation in Lima.
DAY 03: LIMA / CUSCO - CITY TOUR + ARCHEOLOGICAL PARK
Breakfast.
Transfer to the airport for our departure to Cusco. Upon arrival, assistance and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the morning free to acclimatise.
At 13:30 we will start our tour of the city of Cusco. We will visit the Plaza Mayor where most of the buildings retain the colonial style. Then we will visit the Temple of Qoricancha, the maximum expression of the Inca architecture, currently Convent of Santo Domingo. Next we will visit the Cathedral of Cusco, characterized by its Renaissance and colonial style. Finally we will visit the four archaeological centers near Cusco: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay.

DAY 04: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS
Breakfast.
At 08:30 hours I pick up passengers to take the Sacred Valley tour. We will visit Pisaq, where we will appreciate the archaeological complex as well as the typical artisan market, there we can buy beautiful handicrafts. We will continue with the journey along the Vilcanota River towards the Urubamba Valley where we will enjoy an exquisite buffet lunch. After lunch we will continue our tour to Ollantaytambo, one of the last living Inca villages. We will walk streets that maintain the same trace of the Inca era and explore the wonderful archaeological complex located there.

DAY 05: CUSCO / KM 104 - CHACHABAMBA - MACHU PICCHU - AGUAS CALIENTES
Pick up from the hotel at the indicated time, then be transferred to the station and board the train that will take you to Km 104, located on the Cusco - Machu Picchu railway. Km 104 will be the starting point and will be arriving at it at approximately 09:00 hours. At this point you will descend from the train and start the walk to the citadel of Machu Picchu, crossing the Urubamba River through a bridge that offers a spectacular view of the mountains. During the trip you will make the first visit to one of the Inca ruins known as Chachabamba, a beautiful palace of fine stone-carved walls. Then, you will receive a narration about the history of the Incas by the guide. You will continue the walk and begin to ascend a mountain covered with vegetation for about 8 km (for 4 hours) until you reach Wiñaywayna, which is located at 2700 m.a.s.l. The ruins of Wiñaywayna are the second most beautiful construction after Machu Picchu and it is an area of cloud forest. Wiñaywayna shows a perfect example of what agriculture was like in the time of the Incas, since along its skirts lie a large number of terraces. Then, lunch very close to the area. Later, you will continue the walk crossing a cloud forest until you reach the Inti Punko or Puerta del Sol. At this point, you will have access to a great view of the beautiful citadel of Machu Picchu. This is a very special area, so you will rest for a few minutes and take many photos of Machu Picchu. Then, you will descend in the direction of Machu Picchu and go to the town of Aguas Calientes (the guided tour to Machu Picchu will be the next day) where you will spend the night in a hotel.

DAY 06: AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHU PICCHU - OLLANTAYTAMBO / CUSCO
Early after breakfast, transfer to the bus station of Aguas Calientes, to take the tourist bus that takes you to the sacred citadel of Machu Picchu. This short bus trip lasts only 30 minutes and runs along an unpaved, very steep and zigzagging track through a mountain with jungle features and breathtaking views. Finally you will arrive at the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, where the guide will offer you a tour of the most important sectors of this beautiful Inca citadel, visiting the most relevant and impressive parts. Around 12:45 hours you will be taking the bus back that will take you to Aguas Calientes. The return will be in the afternoon via train to Ollantaytambo, at the time indicated on your ticket. DAY 07: SALINERAS DE MARAS AND MORAY ARCHEOLOGICAL CENTER
Breakfast, at 08:30 hours I pick up passengers for the Maras and Moray tour. We will start with the visit to Maras located in the province of Urubamba, there is the most important salt mines in the Cusco region. Later we will visit the formidable archaeological complex of Moray, conformed by admirable systems of platforms that overlap concentrically like a gigantic amphitheater. At 15:00 we will return to your hotel in your cusco to enjoy the afternoon.

DAY 08: CUSCO DEPARTURE
Breakfast.
Coordinated time, transfer to Cusco Airport to board the flight with return to the city of Lima.
