DAY 01: OXAPAMPA IN – CITY TOUR
Reception and transfer to the hotel. We begin the tour entering El Tiroles to observe an Oxapampina cultural manifestation through its beautiful typical dances and we can also learn to dance with them, in the same way taste some artisan products. Then we will move to Chontabamba to visit the Dairy Plant, in this place we will observe part of the cheese making process and taste these delicacies. Continuing with the tour, we will arrive at the La Florida viewpoint to appreciate the scenic beauty that surrounds the city of Oxapampa. We live a mystical experience entering La Tunki Cueva to observe the capricious geological formations and experience the sensation of being underground. We will then enter the El Wharapo distillery to learn everything about the artisanal elaboration process of cane brandy and the traditional guarapo, which are very typical drinks of the area and we will be able to taste them from the same factory. On our return we will enter the Casa de las Artesanías, a place where the culture and experiences of the local people are expressed through beautiful handmade works of art, we can also make use of the typical Oxapampina clothing to take beautiful selfies. Finally, we will enter the center of the Chontabamba district to appreciate the beauty of its park and its very old church. Return to Oxapampa. Lodging in Oxapampa.
DAY 02: AUSTRO GERMAN COLONY OF POZUZO
Breakfast. This unique experience begins by leaving for the Austro-German Colony of Pozuzo enjoying two hours of beautiful cattle landscapes and pure nature. Following the tour we will observe two beautiful waterfalls called Rayantambo and Torrebamba waterfalls. We will cross 17 km. from the Yanachaga Chemillen National Park, this section is spectacular for its abundant flora and some fauna; sometimes you can see some wild animals that cross the road, in this section we will take a short walk to breathe the fresh and refreshing air of this wonderful place. We will continue our trip and we will arrive at the Yulitunqui waterfall, whose attraction is the color of its waters and cool breeze. Upon arrival in POZUZO we will take a brief city tour visiting: The main square of Pozuzo, The Colonos Cemetery, The San José Church, The Emperor Guillermo I Suspension Bridge. On our return to the city we will visit a Craft Beer factory, there we will learn about its production processes. In the afternoon we will move to the Chancarizo Bajo farmhouse to visit the Salt Water Spring, recognized for its medicinal properties, where we will enjoy a refreshing bath in its crystalline waters. Before starting the return, we moved to the Prusia neighborhood to see its large park and its attractive church with a very peculiar architectural design. On our return to Oxapampa we will be able to appreciate the national bird of Peru "El Gallito de las Rocas". Return. Lodging in Oxapampa.
DAY 03: EL TIGRE RIVER WATERFALL
Breakfast This exciting experience begins by heading to the Río Tigre Waterfall, on the way we will appreciate the architectural beauty of the Miraflores neighborhood adorned with its beautiful typical Austro-German houses. After a few minutes we will arrive at the “El Abra” crossroads where a small monument stands as a tribute to the Yánesha ethnic group, who were original inhabitants, and to the biodiversity of the area. Upon reaching the “La Cañera” Sector, we left the vehicle for a few minutes to start a brief walk of approximately 10 minutes along a beautiful path; We will cross a suspension bridge and then we will enjoy beautiful cattle landscapes. We return to the vehicle to continue the short trip and arrive at the charming Río Tigre waterfall where we will observe its spectacular fall and we will be able to take a refreshing dip and hydro massages in its cool waters, in the same way we will be able to take beautiful photographs (selfies). On our return we will visit the La Virgen spring to appreciate its beauty and peculiar formation, in the same place we will appreciate the crystalline waters of this spring and that it has medicinal properties. Return to Oxapampa. Lodging in Oxapampa.
DAY 04: VILLA RICA
Breakfast. This coffee-scented experience begins by heading towards A La Ruta Del Café. Upon arrival in Villa Rica, we enter the center of the city to see its Main Square, the Giant Coffee Pot. Continuing with the tour we will go to the El León waterfall passing through various coffee growing areas, and upon reaching the waterfall we will appreciate the beautiful waterfall. On our return to the city we will visit the Aneczú Farm to participate in the coffee tasting, in the same way to taste the delicious Premium quality coffee. Then we will move to the La Cumbre Viewpoint to appreciate this beautiful city surrounded by jungle greenery from above. In the afternoon we will visit a Coffee Farm to meet the specialists in the organic cultivation of this wonderful grain and we will also be able to taste a delicious cup of coffee. Then we will visit the Laguna EL Oconal wetland where we will take a fun rowing boat ride observing the diversity of birds and plants very typical of that ecosystem; Likewise, we can enjoy Ictiotherapy, which is a natural anti-stress method and make our visit to this fantastic place more satisfactory. Return to Oxapampa. Overnight.
DAY 05: OXAPAMPA OUT
Breakfast. Day off to do personal activities. Coordinated time, transfer to the station to board the bus to the city of Lima.
