DAY 2 CDMX - City and Museum of Anthropology Visit
Breakfast. CITY VISIT, starting with the famous Historic Center: Zocalo, Cathedral, National Palace, Diego Rivera murals, tour of the Paseo de La Reforma and Chapultepec, where the National Museum of Anthropology is located, here you can see a mosaic of the most important cultures of the country in an attractive visit. You can stay in the museum for a full tour or be transferred to your hotel. If you wish to take advantage of your free afternoon, we suggest you visit the floating gardens of “Xochimilco”. DAY 3 JUE CDMX - PUEBLA - OAXACA
Breakfast. Departure to Puebla de los Ángeles, to visit Santa María Tonantzintla, a temple beautifully decorated by indigenous hands. Upon arrival in Puebla: the Chapel of the Rosary, the Cathedral, the Plaza Mayor and the Historic Center. Lunch. Departure to Oaxaca. Arrival and accommodation.
DAY 4 OAXACA - MONTEALBAN, MITLA Y TULE
Breakfast. In the morning we will go to Monte Albán, an archaeological zone built on a mountain, where we will find manifestations of the Olmec, Zapotec and Mixtec cultures: The Great Plaza, the Observatory, the Tomb No. 7, the Stelae of the Dancers. Later we will see Mitla, the city of the dead, an important site of beautiful decoration based on symbolic frets. We will know the Tule Tree, perhaps the most voluminous living being in the world. We will visit Oaxaca, a beautiful colonial city, including the Cathedral, the magnificent temple of Santo Domingo and Museo del Oro Lodging.
DAY 5 OAXACA - SUMIDERO-SAN CRISTÓBAL
Breakfast en route. Early departure to Tuxtla Gutiérrez, capital of the state of Chiapas. We will enjoy the landscape offered by the orography and flora of the Sierra. Transfer by boat to the imposing Sumidero Canyon that is about a thousand meters high at its maximum point. We will pass through Chiapa de Corzo en route to San Cristóbal. Accommodation.
DAY 6 SAN CRISTOBAL - Indigenous Peoples
Breakfast. Visit of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán, indigenous indigenous populations, who preserve their traditions, language, religious beliefs and social organization. The Church, housing and clothing are worth appreciating. Free afternoon. We suggest walking through this beautiful city and visiting the typical Mercado, Santo Domingo, the Cathedral, the Herbalist Museum and the Jade Museum, where there is a replica of King Pakal's Tomb. DAY 7 SAN CRISTÓBAL DE LAS CASAS - AGUA AZUL - PALENQUE
Breakfast. Continuation to the Agua Azul Waterfalls, with beautiful turquoise hues. Possibility of swimming. We will continue to Palenque. Accommodation.
DAY 8 PALENQUE - CAMPECHE
Breakfast. Visit to the archaeological zone of Palenque, treasured in the jungle. One of the most important in the Mayan World, both for historical findings and for its beauty. Inside the Pyramid of the Inscriptions was the sarcophagus of King Pakal, with a gravestone engraved in relief. Temple of the Foliated Cross, Temple of the Sun and the Palace. DAY 9 CAMPECHE - UXMAL - MERIDA
Breakfast. Departure to Uxmal. Visit this archeological area of great architectural beauty: the Pyramid of the Fortune Teller, the Quadrangle of the Nuns, the Governor's Palace, the Ball Game. Continue to Mérida, "The White City" where we will take a panoramic tour: The Paseo de Montejo, the monument to the Homeland, the Main Square with the Cathedral and the Government Palaces. DAY 10 MERIDA - CHICHEN ITZA - CANCÚN or RIVIERA MAYA
At 06:30 a.m. Breakfast. Departure to Chichen Itza, the most renowned Mayan city in Mexico. Archaeological site where advanced archeo-astronomical knowledge is revealed. We will visit one of the 7 new wonders of the world, the famous pyramid of Chichen Itza: The Temple of Kukulcán, the Ball Game, the platform of the Skulls, the Temple of the Jaguars, the Observatory, the Square of the Thousand Columns, the Sacred Cenote. Arrival at the majestic cenote IK-IL where we can swim. Continue to Cancun. (Lodging not included). END OF OUR SERVICES.
