DAY 01 CITY OF ORIGIN / CDMX

Reception at the airport, by our correspondent and transfer to your hotel. Accommodation.


DAY 02 MEXICO CITY. - BASILICA DE GUADALUPE AND PYRAMIDS OF TEOTIHUACÁN

Breakfast. We will start the day visiting the Basilica of Guadalupe where the patron saint of Mexico is venerated. We will continue our trip to San Juan de Teotihuacán where the most imposing Archaeological zone of Mexico is located, we will know the pyramid of the Sun (the largest), the pyramid of the moon, the road of the Dead and the Temple of Quetzalcoatl (the snake feathered). Lunch. Return to D.F. Free time. Accommodation.

DAY 03 (D) MEXICO CITY - MEXICO CITY / QUERETARO / SAN MIGUEL de ALLENDE

We leave for Querétaro, with a journey of approximately two hours. Arrival to the historic center to do a pedestrian walk with: the House of the Corregidora Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez (now it is the Municipal Palace) and the Marquise Palace of the Villa del Villar del Águila. We will see its impressive Aqueduct with 1,280 meters in length and arches over 23 meters high, becoming a masterpiece of the 18th Century Engineering. Visit of the Temple of the Holy Cross, which is where the thorns in the form of a crucifix are sold, of a bush unique in its kind in the world. Main Square. Cerro de las Campanas, where Emperor Maximilian was executed in 1867, and where we will also admire a great monument dedicated to Benito Juárez, Benemérito de las Américas. Lunch time (not included).

Continue to San Miguel de Allende, an hour and a half away. This city has been named by various publications such as Count Nast Traveler and Travel & Leisure, as the most beautiful city in Latin America. Visit of the Church dedicated to San Miguel Arcángel, a beautiful 17th century architectural piece with a neo-Gothic facade and the Main Square. The Municipal Palace, the Casa del Mayorazgo de la Canal, the Allende Institute of Art and Culture, Royal Convent of the Conception. Panoramic visits to the houses of the famous artists Cantinflas and Pedro Vargas. Handicrafts market, with art exhibits in pewter, embossed brass, the star features, papier-mâché, articles with the image of Frida Kahlo and the hearts that are the symbol of San Miguel de Allende, among many others. DAY 04 (Lu) SAN MIGUEL ALLENDE / ATOTONILCO / DOLORES HIDALGO / GUANAJUATO

Breakfast. Departure to Atotonilco, to admire the famous Mexican “Sistine Chapel”, which is the Sanctuary of Jesus Nazareno de Atotonilco, an 18th-century baroque temple located 14 kilometers from San Miguel de Allende in the Mexican state of Guanajuato. Construction began in the 18th century under the direction of the priest Luis Felipe Neri de Alfaro who sought to build a church similar to that of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem. The church is composed of a main nave, seven annexed chapels, sacristy and six dressing rooms. The chapels are decorated with paintings by Juan Rodríguez Juárez and the murals by local artist Miguel Antonio Martínez de Pocasangre. The importance of the Sanctuary was manifested on July 8, 2008 when Unesco included the sanctuary in its list of World Heritage Sites.

Continue to Dolores Hidalgo, 45 minutes away. Arrival to visit the Church of the Virgin of Dolores, where the priest Miguel Hidalgo gave the shout that began the struggle for independence at dawn on September 16, 1810. Visit to the tomb of the illustrious Mexican composer José Alfredo Jiménez, known worldwide for having performed many of the most representative Mexican songs like "El Rey", "Ella", "La Mediauelta", "Serenata huasteca", "Dawn in your arms" and "I let go of you." Time to have lunch (Not included).

Departure to Guanajuato through the Sierra de Santa Rosa, famous for the famous song "Camino de

Guanajuato". An hour away, we arrive in Guanajuato, for a visit that includes: the church of La Valenciana, La Alhóndiga de Granaditas. Guanajuato is famous for its streets and tunnels, which can be admired during the visit. We will see sculptures of characters such as Don Quijote and Jorge Negrete. The University, Church of Our Lady of Guanajuato that is located in the Plaza de la Paz, panoramic view of the house of Diego Rivera, panoramic view of the house of Jorge Negrete. Juarez Theater (does not include entrance), Jardín Unión, Hidalgo market, squares and alleys such as the famous Callejón del Beso and Plaza del Baratillo. Visit to the viewpoint that is next to the monument to Pípila. A visit (optional, not including admission) to the Mummy Museum is also suggested. We suggest doing on your own, at night, the "Callejoneada" which is very famous especially during the Cervantino Festival. Accommodation.


DAY 05 (Ma) GUANAJUATO / TLAQUEPAQUE / GUADALAJARA (CITY VISIT)

Breakfast. Departure to Tlaquepaque, with a journey of three hours to arrive. Tlaquepaque that is a conurbation town in Guadalajara, recognized for its artisanal galleries, with its wonderful ceramics and glass objects. Galleries of great artists like Sergio Bustamante can be found here. Visit its beautiful square with its Kiosk, the El Refugio cultural center, among other interesting places. Lunch included in a typical restaurant.

Departure to the center of Guadalajara, a few minutes. Guadalajara is the second most important city in Mexico. Walking tour of the historic center: Cathedral, Laurel Square, Plaza de Armas, Government Palace with the spectacular murals of José Clemente Orozco and Rotonda de los Ilustres. Plaza Libertad (or Independence), Degollado Theater (does not include the entrance), Plaza Foundation with its beautiful fountain, Plaza Tapatía. Option to enter the famous Cabañas Cultural Institute (entrance not included). Visit the Libertad market, the largest handicraft, clothing and food market in Latin America. Accommodation.


DAY 06 (Mi) GUADALAJARA / TEQUILA / GUADALAJARA

Breakfast. Departure to Tequila, an hour and a half away. We will visit this Magic Town that is also a World Heritage Site, with its Blue Agave fields, as well as a Tequila producing Hacienda to learn about the process of making one of the most famous drinks in the world, which is named after this town. There will be a tasting while we do the tour and the explanation of everything that involves the production of Tequila. Lunch time (not included). I return to Guadalajara. Accommodation.


DAY 07 (Ju) GUADALAJARA / PÁTZCUARO / MORELIA

Breakfast. Visit of the Expiatory Temple of the Blessed Sacrament, designed by the Italian architect Adamo Boari, with medieval Gothic style. This temple of stunning beauty is compared by experts with the Church of Notre Dame. Its construction highlights details such as: quarry stone carved with techniques from the Middle Ages; mosaics brought from the Vatican; a Carrillón of 25 musical pieces (among them the famous “Marcate de Zacatecas”, “México Lindo y Querido” and “Las Mañanitas”); and a lavish German stained glass dome with scenes like "The Last Supper" and "The Passions of Christ", and a depth that will take you to heaven.

Continue to Pátzcuaro, with a journey of about three and a half hours. Arrival to this Magical Town, to visit important places such as: the Basilica of Our Lady of Health known for its many miracles, the House of Eleven Patios, the Gertrudis Bocanegra Library, the Plaza de Don Vasco and its market. Lunch time (not included).

Continue to Morelia, one hour away. Morelia is another of our fabulous World Heritage cities. Visit that includes: the Church of the Guadalupita, The Cathedral, the Government Palace, the Plaza de Armas, Aqueduct (built in 1790 to bring water to the city, which has more than 250 arches and almost 30 feet high and almost two kilometers long), Fuente de las Tarascas, Morelos Monument. Visit of the Church of Santa Rosa de Lima, Jardin de las Rosas and panoramic view of the Conservatory of Music where the famous “Singing Children of Morelia” originated, taught by the famous maestro Romano Picutti (teacher of the Singer Children of Vienna). Panoramic view of the house of the famous singer Marco Antonio Solís “El Buki”. The famous candy and handicraft market cannot be missed. Accommodation.


DAY 08 (Ju) MORELIA / CDMX

Breakfast. At the agreed time, return to Mexico City, with a duration of approximately four hours. Left at the hotel of your choice. End of the circuit Accommodation.


DAY 09 CDMX / CITY OF ORIGIN

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for the return flight. (Flight not included). End of our services.
